Push for homegrown patents

INCREASING THE NUMBER of patents on Filipino inventions, ensuring convictions against copyright infringers, and removing the country from a United States watch list will be the focus of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IP Philippines) over the next five years, its new director-general Ricardo R. Blancaflor yesterday said.
