22 April 2010 – Public consultation on implementing the TRIPS Protocol
The TRIPS Protocol enables least-developed and developing countries deal with health crisis such as an HIV/AIDS, malaria or influenza epidemic. Such countries are often unable to manufacture the necessary pharmaceuticals and can not afford to purchase them in the normal way.
